100 days of Christmas... 3D paper ornaments

These 3D paper ornaments look really effective hanging on the tree, and are simple to make.

You will need:
decorative paper
pencil
glue
scissors
needle & thread (or a stapler)
Something circle shaped to draw around
Ribbon for hanging
Draw around a circular shape (such as a glass) onto decorative paper.  If the paper is one sided, you will need to cut 6 circles to make one ornament. If working with children, you might like to use paper that they have painted themselves.

Glue two circles back to back, to create a double sided circle.  Glue a piece of ribbon in the middle of one pair of circles. This will be used for hanging.
Layer three double-sided circles on top of each other, the ribboned circle sandwiched in the middle.
Using either a needle and thread or a sewing machine, sew up the centre of the 3 circles.
(You could also use a stapler if working with children)
.
Fold the circles backwards and forwards to create a 3D ornament.
